Get a calculator.

 

Divide 1 by 7 and note the results.

 

Divide 2 by 7 and note the results.

 

Ditto 3,4,5,6,8,9, and anyfink you like up to about a million.

 

Report back on the results and any pattern you can spot emerging.

 

Get a life.

They all end in 0.142857 recurring or some cycled version of the above:

 

1/7 = 0.142857

2/7 = 0.285714

3/7 = 0.428571

4/7 = 0.571428

5/7 = 0.714285

6/7 = 0.857142

 

Yes - I knew all that off the top of my geeky head....

 

It works for fraction of all primes - but its just 22 decimcal paces for 1/23 etc...
