Myles
Well, as a pointer, the carbon SPAs are about 150 quid new (125+VAT from SPA Direct)- and the ones CC use *are* SPAs, I believe... Other than the 'wow' factor of carbon, there's b*gger all weight saving, and the basic placcy jobs are are about 60 quid cheaper. Keep BC free and open for ALL. Wingnonut
Modena, How was it on track without the centre mirror? I fitted my aeroscreen on saturday and spentall afternoon blatting around avoiding rain having great fun. The only prob was the fact that the centre mirror blocked my view of left hand bends somewhat. With the side mirrors (formulas) being much better than expected I was thinking of removing the centre but didn't want to be accused of not being aware of whats behind me. Cheers, W.Nut. Myles
What height center did you get? My 40mm stem places the mirror in line of sight of the FL headlamp - so I'm not losing too much vision in that direction. ISTR that when I had the 100mm jobby, it really did get in the way... Wingnonut
40mm. Just puts it in the Head Light/Cycle Wing area. I would say that a 100mm one would move it out of the way. Must be that I am to short!!! Rosso Superlight no.
