Bicycle Computers on a 7

I've never needed to rebalance the wheel.

Door magnets are too big I would have thought.

Your local bike factor can get you proper spare Sigma magnets pretty cheap.

Just break the magnet out of the plastic cover / spoke mounting thingy...

I fitted one as well, on the dash (not ideal I agree) but a fairly straightforward job. Charles - glad to know the magnet worked (I still have to change over to a tiny magnet). If anyone is interested you can get some very small but strong magnets from here, meaning a neater fit and less effect on the wheel balance.

Checked mine with GPS and it is damned accurate - not like the Caterham speedo at all!

If you wan't to fit the sigma to the dash -

the rear section of the sigma is virtually exactly the same size as a switch hole. Remove the heater switch (there's no heater fitted anyway is there) and tape the signal leads to the sides of the hole, covered with a small square of kitchen foil, located to make contact with the 2 contact pegs on the rear of the Sigma. The unit can then be gently pushed into the hole and is likely to be held securely on it's own.

Easily removed if desired, and no unnecessary drilling *thumbup*

Stu.
