Water in footwell after washing

Frying Pan

My SV was fitted with Armourfend, as requested, on the nose-cone and the rear wings. However, additional patches of the material were fitted onto the bonnet, where the side-screens rest when fully open. It must have been those bits that resulted in soapy water inside the car *thumbdown* That narrows down the number of places to be explored for leaks *smile*

I agree with Tony C - Ialways wash the bonnet separately to avoid comedy engine bay-flooding. Leave the bonnet on to wash the scuttle/windscreen, but then pop it off to wash separately. I always do this last having washed the rest of the (front) of the car.

Marvellous.
