DAVID L Posted February 27, 2004 Share Posted February 27, 2004 Two Caterham-Branded Fibreglass tillets less than 200 miles use both with adjustable runners non-scratched bum pad (since they have been covered by the item below) PLUS bespoke Oxted Trimming Company leather padded, velcro secured back and squab inserts. These are not the standard supplied items from OTC but fabulously made jobbies that fit the whole seat and back which were made to my design! Why am I selling after spending close on a 'Grand' to get these and pay for Caterham's fitting? Because, for some strange reason, I have never felt that comfortable in them and, more importanyly, my partner/memsahb/navigator has not either and, since my motto is to go fast in comfort they have been replaced with some tarty leather jobs. Now, to price: Caterham list them at £299+vat each plus runners at £18=vat and, then there are the OTC inserts at £150/pair Giving a frightning total of just over £940 (plus fitting) that I have foolishly spent!
