Do you have the thought for the day? mine says

"A shared meal if food for friendship"

Just thought - we could start a new thread, and collate all the useless information accross shedly diaries, and make the world* a better place. * Better check on The Kingdom of the Sheds, and see how they are today.....

OK, so here we go..............

In 1055, work started on the building of Westminster Abbey.

Then the builders probably b*ggered off for 6 months to build an extension for somebody. *tongue* Then couldn't start for another 6 months, due to the weather Guvnor.

3 people whose birthdays are today: Mikhail Gorbachev (73). Lou Reed (62). Jon Bon Jovi (42).

On March 2, 1933, the movie "King Kong," starring Fay Wray, had its world premiere in New York.

One hundred years ago, on March 2, 1904, children's author Theodor Seuss Geisel — popularly known as "Dr. Seuss" — was born.

Thought for Today: "Be who you are and say what you feel 'cause people who mind don't matter, and people who matter don't mind." — Dr. Seuss. 😬
