old captain slow Posted April 23, 2001 Share Posted April 23, 2001 I've just tracked down an irritating rattle to a failed weld on the rear of the silencer where the tail pipe comes out of the can. You can only see it when the exhaust is hot and the pipe has expanded and opened up a gap. Anyone come across this before? The obvious question is can I just ignore it?
