Warren S Smith
Could someone advise me what is the cheapest place to acquire the AP LSD which Caterham fit. Thanks for all help.
Peter Carmichael
Caterham no longer fit the AP Suretrak LSD because it has gone out of production. A shame, because it is a great trouble free unit for lower powered cars. Because it goes open when a wheel is airborne it has caused problems with high powered cars on wide slicks, causing shock load damage in the gearbox. Road and race transmissions are a good start for anything like this.
Jason Plato
The ex-AP suretrac diff is now fitted in the Subaru WRX and the Honda S2000 . So if Subaru are useing it , then we could expect to see it fitted in the Vx220 roadster ?? Just for useless info ! Dave
Warren S Smith
I have been informed that Caterham now fit a ZF diff. Any ideas where I could hunt this down? Also, do you have a telephone number for Road & Race transmissions? Thanks,

John
Try Tran-X. They do one. Check out www.tran-x.com. You can buy direct from the factory in coventry and get a good discount if you haggle (upto 20%). Different ramp angles and pre loads are available. Ask for Allan Cookson.
