Hi Rob

(a) International events and all MSA events

Snell SA 95*, SA2000

SFI Foundation 31.1*, 31.2*

SFI Foundation 31.1 (a), 31.2 (b)

BS6658 Type A/FR

or

(b) All MSA events

BS6658 - 85 type A (Type B isa not acceptable)

*indicates these standards may be withdrawn on 31.12.2005

...and of course the helmet's first event will need the occupant to purchase a blue MSA sticker off the scrutineer for £1.

Sorry Chelspeed, your comment isn't correct.

In both the 2003 and 2004 Blue Book it indicates in Q10 that SA95 standard helmets (like mine too!) may be withdrawn on 31 Dec 2005 for International and MSA events.

This is presumably because Snell will intrdouce a new SA2005 standard at the beginning of 2005 as these standards are reviewed every 5 years.
