I have £9k to spend

I am looking for a Caterham Seven for sort of everyday use (drive it to work occasionally, pop down shops) so full weather gear etc, and got to be respectable around a track. I'm not looking for anything tooooo quick 'cos my track driving isn't that good !!

I think the 1700 supersprint fits the bill but I can be persuaded to consider anything at this stage.

Has anyone got something suitable that they would like to sell ?

or would anyone like to make any buying recommendations (ie what to look out for and what to avoid when buying my first seven).

please email me at aj003f3363@blueyonder.co.uk

or call on 07775 546422

Thanks

Andrew Johnman

Or what about a 1.6VX. There's a good example of one for slightly more than budget here with full weather equipment inc tonneau.

Good luck otherwise.

Andy, it might be in your interest to pop along to a Sutton Sevens evening, being a local we certainly will guide you through what the pros and cons are, and also what to look for, and any information regarding the club and track days and so on, we are a friendly bunch so watch out for a future posting soon . *thumbup*

I've got a VX classic, 1998, 16K miles for only £7500.

It's an ex-Graduate series car that's just been fettled at the cost of £1000 by Premier Road & Track.

So, new steering column bushes, A-frame bushes, eliminated play in rear axle, new wings etc - mechanically its had everything doing to it they thought it needed!

Finished in metallic blue with black wings & nose with weather gear (but not a full tonneau), S-type seats, 4-point harness, FIA bar, battery cut-out, this could be just what you need to get started.

And New Malden is only about 5 miles away!

But be quick! It must go to make way for a racing project.

I ave a friend who's selling his private plated 1990 1.7 X-Flow due to arrival of R300. Suggest yo give him a call.

He was looking for £9k, but new car arrives in April so I expect he'd take around £8.5k for quick sale.

It's currently down at Caterham so it may even be on the Caterham web-site, but it will be more expensive through them

contact - Karl 07788580131 *thumbup* But be quick if your interested
