graham bass
Has anyone got a spare/unused momo steering wheel boss to fit an '87' super seven they would like to sell? Graham

WEL
I am sure I have in the garage somewhere a fixed boss and top half of the steering column for a momo steering wheel. I took it off when I fit a quick release steering wheel. It is off a 97 caterham, let me know if this is what you want and I'll have a look to see if it is still there. graham bass
Yes this sounds promising. I may need only the boss I really don't know whether the column (in terms of spline arrangement) changed between 87 and your dated model. Can you have a dig please and let me know what you've got and how much. Much appreciated. Graham
WEL
No problem, as far as I can remember the top half of the shaft is splined at the top and is triangular at the bottom. I'll have look for it over the weekend and send you some photos. How much are you thinking I realy have no idea what these cost. http://hometown.aol.co.uk/w21sby/myhomepage/auto.html
WEL
I have found it. The bottom of the top shaft isn't triangular as I thought, but a tube with a slot in it. If you want some photos let me have your email. Gary http://hometown.aol.co.uk/w21sby/myhomepage/auto.html
graham bass
Gary, don't know about the shaft but am sure it would fit as a replacement if need be. Going rate? I think the boss was about £21 + vat and postage from D Tweeks Would have to check to be sure though. Over to you......
WEL
Postage will be about £5, so how does £20 sound including postage. http://hometown.aol.co.uk/w21sby/myhomepage/auto.html
