Need a 7
hi there, I'm from dublin and i would appreciate some help and info. I am looking to buy a 7 to have as a classic car here in dublin. The reasoning behind the classic car idea is that the insurance for me being 27 is about 3-4K euro which is a waste!! If I can find a car that is registered in 1983 i would be very happy!! Does anyone know of such a car for sale?? Want to enjoy asap !! Or can recommend certain model or what I should expect to pay?? There are only a handful of 7's here........... Anyway appreciate any ideas.. 🤔

Matthew Willoughby
You needn't worry about it being classed as a classic car. I've got a year 2000 Seven and it costs around £350 for me to insure and I'm only 23. If you put it on a limited mileage policy with a specialist insurer the cost will be low compared to any "normal" car of comparable performance. simonbell
I`m guessing its to do with registtration and tax rather than insurance Have engine, diff and tacho.......need car I`ve seen the future.....and it`s powered by duratec
Need a 7
yes thats right, vehicle registration tax in ireland is extremely expensive. But insurance is very expensive and the only limited milage scheme there seems to be is for classic cars 21 years old or more.......... Can anyone recommend the best way of sourcing one and am I looking for a very small needle in a large hay barn ??!!!!
