Sheds Moderator
If he already has 8 or 10 thousand 7s why does he want any more? Seriously, I think you should post this on "wanted" with details of what sort of 7 you think he would like. At this sort of money it will be a XFlow from 10+ years ago or a well used basic K series. Do a search to see what's out there. Actually ISTR there was a BDA 7 under 10k. Excuse me whole I drool.
Martin H
Or an ex-academy X-Flow or Vx 1600 in pretty good condition (3-5 years old). Try a search on the wanted pages, as there have been a couple of similar threads recently, with all the old arguments about which is best VFM. YW Sin
10 grand should be enough for a mint 6-8 year old classic (live axle, just like the original lotus) with 135hp cross-flow engine. Most of these cars are in great conditions but try to get a low mileage car with no more than 20000 on it. Cross flow cars needs constant tampering, tuning carbs , changing oil frequently, etc... but it is part of the fun of owning such car. My advise is avoid ex-track or racing cars.
