Scrutineering

At a number of events last year, the practise of 'bringing your car to the scrutineer' seemed very time consuming and chaotic IMO. ☹️

Events I have attended run by other clubs have a practise of the scrutineers going to the cars at a predetermined time. For example, Class 1 would be done between 9 & 9.20, class 2 9.20 & 9.40 etc....

This gives competitors plenty of time to prepare, warm-up, attend breifings, walk the track etc. without having to spend the best part of an hour standing in line pushing their car down the middle of the paddock getting in everybody elses way.

Is this a frustration other competitors share, what are the chances of improvements for 2004 *cool*

What do you think BB 🤔

I wasnt intending doing any class segregation or competitor numbered spaces .

At Llandow the scrutineers come to you all in good time .....nice and relaxed is how we like it ....

You can also park next to your mates , even if they are in a different class .

So all in all I'm not fixing something that isnt broken and making more work for myself *smile*

*thumbup* 😬
