simonbell Posted February 4, 2004 Share Posted February 4, 2004 I`m a happy chappy 😬 I took my crusty old second hand diff into the local gearbox shop to get it refurbished. As I was explaining what I wanted done the guy starts telling me he thinks he has some brand new ones in the store.......now when was the last time you saw a brand new Sierra diff (not a refurbished or remanufactured one). Anyway he appeared with a big Ford box, opened it up, unwrapped the wax coated cloth / paper it was wrapped in and lo and behold a brand spanking new Ford diff....... How much???..........£50 He was aware they were worth more but didn`t see much of a market for them and said it had been sitting on his shelf along with a few others for years. Apparently someone bought the other two a few weeks back.....Not one to argue I promptly took the diff along with the mans arm..........
