SIX
Could anyone please tell me where the 2 breathers outlets on the cam cover on the xe motor go to when carbs are fitted thanks
Swiss_Tony
The large rear one goes to the sump. The smallest one can be blanked off. The other one should go to a catch tank. If you have the rocker cover off it is worth modifying the inner breather plate. James

EFA
Don't remove the inner breather plate if you do not have a dry sump system. You will otherwise spend the rest of your life emptying your catch tank. Still, as you drive a Westfie1d you probabbly deserve that, esp. as you asked the question in a "real Seven" forum........ Best solution is sell the W*******d, keep the engine and fit it in a Caterham! Marius
Or just blank all three of them off, but only if you run the engine with a powerfull dry-sump-pump, it makes the engine run under "vacuum" which is said to release these very necessary extra horses. Oh, and you saved the weight of two or even three hoses. Dump that W*******d and put the engine in a proper car ! Marius
EFA
Blank all three if and you'll get aireation and a dead engine!
