Nick Speed
I own an HPC on 16" rims and Goodyear GSD's which are lethal until warm and then worse! I want to keep the 16" wheels but would appreciate any advice on tyres. Caterham suggest Avon ZZ1 which they say are available in a soft compound. I am looking for something in a soft compound and without too rigid a sidewall - a light car with a 45 aspect ratio presumably does not need this? 90% road use plus the odd sprint - if a day at the Curburough Sprint School goes well! Any thoughts will be much appreciated. Cheers.
Dartmoor7
I have Caterham-supplied ZZ-1 so would be soft compound if really available and they are worse than the Mich Pilots previously fitted. I have refitted the old Michelins. (Until I can afford 13" and Yokos). See topic 'Wheels' in this forum.
