I've just been watching the inuagural run of the transcontinental Ghan train in Austrlia Its the longest North South rail journey in the world at 2979kms, a mere 2 locos are pulling 43 coaches (I'd like to see the spec of those beasts) that over a km long Looks like a great way to see the heart of Oz and you can even take your car as it offers a motor rail service She just smiled and gave me a vegemite sandwich Supercheese R250 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
