Grubbster Posted January 31, 2004 Share Posted January 31, 2004 Hi, On BC there are regular questions asking where various bits of the car come from (as many parts are sourced from Rovers and the like) e.g. Where are the indicator lenses sourced from? What oil seal do I need for the speedo drive? What brake pads do I need to get? I think it may be useful to start an area where people can add what they can to save the need for asking the same questions all the time. For instance I want to get spare clutch and throttle cables as I heard they can break, if I new what car they originally came from it would be easy to pop to a local dealer and get them. Frying Pan Posted February 7, 2004 Share Posted February 7, 2004 Grubbster I was tidying the garage this morning (not a lot else to do now the car is away ☹️) and I found the bag that the throttle cable was in. I thought of you and kept the part label It's an MG Rover part and I'll forward you the part number. Clutch cable is almost certainly a Ford part. Cheers Guy See some pictures of the build here.
