EFA
I need to extend one of my hoses (due to engine repositioning) by about 1". Does anybody have a 1 3/8" outside dia stainless tube which is around 3 or 4 inches longe (pref with the forms to stop the hoses slipping off....???) Cash waiting..... Fat Arn Slay the K. Jason Plato
Its an inch higher to allow for the extra stroke on the crank Arnie - I know that Think Automotive are good for all these hoses pipes etc etc , maybe worth giving them a bell ? I reply to every thread
Yeah - the sump is a foot deep now!
Sheds Moderator
So with a sump that deep will he need to dig a groove in the track before he goes drag racing?
Pelico
But he won't need to steer, it will be just like a big scalectric. My new Caterham owner's site Edited by - Pelico on 29 Jan 2004 18:25:
Chelspeed
Merlin Motorsport at Castle Gloom, 01249 782101, do ally tubes (much lighter and less Max Powery than stainless) in a range of diameters with the grooves in to keep the pipe on. They look crap though, really badly made. Alex at AH fabrications in Hereford does ally tubes with the same grooves in for less money but they're a million times better made than Merlin's, Alex 01432 354704. I use Merlin because they're east to get hold of and quick then get Alex to do them right at a later date.
Irrelevant
Arnie: Have you found one yet? . . . . Burton also do them, although their's are ally not stainless. J351 TPE . . . battered old X/Flow
EFA
I'm all sorted. Best solution was a new coolant hose designed for the K series dry sump installation, so I've gone with that. Mark - I'll get your adapter back to you.... Fat Arn Slay the K.
