That "Rendezvous" film

Did anyone else read in Autocar about a Dutch magazine that had proved that it was a not a Ferrari after all but a Renault Alpine ? Apparently they also took a Chrysler Crossfire (those crazy dutch !) round the same route late at night and it took 16 minutes, twice as long as the film.

Still a fun film to watch though *smile*

It is I, Clouseau ... dans ma Ferrari ... drahving around Paris, vair, vair fast - early one moaning in ze Seventies *smile*

Some French director called Claude LeLoche, apparently had 8 minutes of film left after shooting a film, so he strapped the camera to his new Ferrari 275 GTB and drove from the Arc de Triomphe up to Sacre Cour like a bit of a nutter.

It now turns out that it may have been a Renault Alpine, with Jean-Louis Schlesser driving, and the soundtrack was taken from a 1966 Ferrari 330 P3 on a test track. Perhaps.

All good fun either way.
