Badger Bill Posted January 25, 2005 Share Posted January 25, 2005 The trick is to have the pipe pointing up higher than the tank, pour petrol down the syphon, until it rises up the tube, then point it downwards, lower than the tank. Violet Elizabeth Posted January 25, 2005 Author Share Posted January 25, 2005 Lung assisted syphoning worked a treat. Although the tube was very long so didn't get anywhere near my mouth. I still have 3 cans of petrol left from the tank. Still works in the leaf blower quite well A very brave man welded the fuel pump gizmos into the tank for me.
