Harry Flatters
Go on Mark - you know you want them. 😬 Just think, you could fill your entire garage with mag wheels, no room for the car, mind you 😬 *arrowright*Harry Flatters *arrowright* AKA Steve Mell of Su77on Se7ens and Surrey Joint AO
KenEvans
£600 per set of four seems a little on the high side to me for some that could be up to two years old. Am I wrong? I need some but I might wait a little longer. Ken
robmar
Ken - that is what I thought, i would like tot knoe if they had been tested before I would buy assuuming they are ex-race ones and the reason they are not being used is that they may fail and need to be tested... rob
Bangers quotNquot Mas1697456953
Why pay £600 for old style wheels??? Caterham are £517 incl VAT for a set of the new style?????
Harry Flatters
I can't remember what Mike B is charging now but I doubt it is much more than £100 over these prices and as Rob says, if these are ex-race then they would need crack testing. Even assuming they are OK, I still think they are a bit pricey. They would have to be spotless at that price. *arrowright*Harry Flatters *arrowright* AKA Steve Mell of Su77on Se7ens and Surrey Joint AO
Harry Flatters
You're right Beagle, but to be fair you are not really comparing like with like. The mag wheels are ultra light 3 piece as opposed to the Caterham replacements which are a heavier (AFAIK) one piece offering. *arrowright*Harry Flatters *arrowright* AKA Steve Mell of Su77on Se7ens and Surrey Joint AO
Tight fart
Are they the ones that have broke on race cars when not crack tested? T.F@O.F. A7 RDP Pics here
Harry Flatters
There have been a small number of failures on these wheels. In particular I think it was at Brands last year, a couple of wheels that had done 5000+ racing miles and had not been crack tested did fail. But then so have other manufacturers wheels, pics have been posted on BC. *arrowright*Harry Flatters *arrowright* AKA Steve Mell of Su77on Se7ens and Surrey Joint AO

Mark Durrant
Ken I think your valuation is realistic, even I could be tempted at that price Mark D Su77on Se7ens Making plans for the 2004 Sprint Season

Tonycaterham
I bought a new set last year off Mike Barnby and all up including set of nuts and P&P cost me 909.72. I would buy another set if they were £500 a set and included wheel nuts. Tony
