He said he would call me after the game as we had some things to talk about ... but he didn't call until about 9pm. Silly boy had left his car near South Bermondsey station, so he had to wait around until everyone else had left and the police would let him follow the home fans. But he got lost, and spent a very pleasant two hours wandering the streets of south london trying not to say "howay man" or "wayyy-ay" to the natives I once picked a fantasy team for our secretary, entirely based on footballers with slight rude names (Windass, Dickov, Bent) ... she did remarkably well Edited by - Noger on 23 Jan 2004 11:23:32 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
