Chelspeed
Due to more upgrading I have a set of 4 leda springs and dampers available. They are the normal leda's, see here Leda with 18 way bump/rebound adjustment (via a very positive, very easy to reach, big black knobby) and adjustable ride height. They have rose jointed bushes top and bottom of each shock. Springs are 360 lb/in front and 170 lb/in rear, powder coated black. The front springs suit a Vauxhall car with widetrack, for other applications you'll need a new pair of springs which are about 30 quid a pair and widely available. Rear springs will be right for most cars. Damper settings are as the James Whiting kits, on various occasions I have used between 6 and 12 of the 18 range so they seem just about perfect. My car is a pre-96 chassis so the front top mount uses the same bolt as the wishbone, the rear uses the centre tube through the de dion tube. I'm 99% sure the ledas will fit the post-96 fronts using the same ally sleeve as the standard billies. They will fit widetrack (providing it's running lowish) or any narrow track cars. I don't think they'll fit the very latest de dion tubes which only have the lower mounts but could be wrong. They will fit the previous de dion tubes which have both mounts. The shocks come with all other spacers to fit using the original bolts. Cost 2 years ago was 700 quid for the lot, they've done about 20 sprints and a handfull of road miles since. Looking for 400 quid or so. These are quality shocks which are as new (and anyway are rebuildable) and should not be confused with the spax adjustable, AVO, Gaz type of budget shock. Email me as profile if interested.
