Doug
I'm having very little luck from tyre distributors discovering the correct tyre sizes for my 7J HPC wheels. Please can someone help! I currently have 205 45 16 Avon ZZ1s on the front and rear. Am I correct in thinking that 205s on the front are a bit big? Any help would be very gratefully received. Graham Sewell
From George Polley's web site, it looks like 7 inch wheels will take upto 225/50 profile tyres. So I would think the 205/45 should be OK. Low tech luddite - xflow and proud!
Dickie Normuss
I've got 205's on mine Seek forgiveness, not permission. 1700 X-Flow. The sweet sound of carbs!!! see it here Look out, I'm armed and dangerous!!!
adrain
I've got 205s too for my HPCs. In chatting to a bloke on the Avon stand at Autosport he suggested that the wall stiffness was more of an issue than contact width for tyre performance for our Caterhams. prs
I've got 205's as well, I would have thought that with 225 you would be tramlining something chronic. Phil S7 SVN
