Also useful for forming any curves, eg boiler plate etc. If he ever finds one my dad will restore it with loving care until it is better than new and then never actually use it, just bask in the knowledge that he has "a machine that can". A bit like some people and their sports cars really. Not that I can exactly scoff, mine only did 4k miles last year. More this year though I hope.
