Shaun Soanes
I have a 1.6ss K with factory fitted Immobiliser, works fine on key fob, on and off as it should, however it should auto set after about 1 min after key removed from ignition. It used to, but last couple of weeks it has once or twice not activated. I generally set it manually and have only noticed this problem when moving, parking or cleaning. Anyone had similar problems? car only six months old so will be talking to Caterham as it is still under warranty, but if their is a quick fix please tell! and save me the trip. may thanks Shaun
Richard J Darnell
I have the same problem (also a 1.6k SS) - I only realised it should auto set a couple of days ago when reading the hand book. It seems to work fine using the key fob. Let me know if you find an easy fix.
Shaun Soanes
Richard, Is that because you only got your hand book last week, if so me too. Better late than never! Mine seems to be auto setting today, tomorrow will be yet another story, still got out in the 7 today, what a blast!

R7CJP
My 1.6k has never auto set. After disconnecting the battery I have had the "will not set on the fob" problem also. I resolved this by starting the engine, then turning it off, then holding down the OFF key on the fob for approx. 4 seconds then holding down the ON key for 4 seconds (make sure the fob is well within the range of the receiver). Give then ON key a little blip and it should set the system. This is supposed to reset the system. I hope it works for you guys. R7CJP
Andrew
That sounds familiar. The guys at Ratrace did something similar to my key fob when I first bought it. If it doesn't work try giving them a call. Andy
