henry21p
On this topicl anyone want my old Mk2 escort (1300)? Not been driven for years - nasty brown colour, but all original parts. Free (maybe a tenner to NTL) to anyone that wants it? Has been garaged so weather hasn't ravaged it too badly! Good for spares if nothing else. Was my first car and am loath to get rid of it, but rather it went to a good home (or to help keep someone else on then road) P523 BPB - Caterham 21 Captain Scarlet Evolution www.caterham21.com
Sheds Moderator
Suggest you sell it to a locost builder, they are quite sought after as they provide all the mechanicals in one go and you can find out which bits do and don't run.
henry21p
Sam - got your e-mail but the answer bounced - can you drop over contact info direct to david@caterham21.com How do I find these locost types then???? DanB
Either go to the Yahoo Groups Locost forum or the forum on locostbuilders.co.uk. If you offer it free someone will bite your hand off for it - they're getting relatively hard to find these days - the bad ones have been scrapped and the good ones are too get to scrap. Stuart Faulds
Dave, is it a 2 or 4 door? Sunroof? Much rot? Stuart
henry21p
4 door minor floor pan welding (inc under passenger seat) surface rust - rot situation not too bad (one wheel arch a bit ropey, one replaced) tyres flat battery fat no sunroof roofrack transmission/suspension/gearbox sound lights work! If i remember it was retired at 90,000 miles P523 BPB - Caterham 21 Captain Scarlet Evolution www.caterham21.com Edited by - Dave21P on 16 Jan 2004 08:32:
