Mark Durrant
This is the cradle that bolts to the cylinder head to aid K Series engine removal/fitting. I have borrowed one in the past but it would be easier to have one to hand Mark D Su77on Se7ens Making plans for the 2004 Sprint Season

caterhamnut
Not at all what you are describing, but I have a folding 2 tonne crane if you need to borrow one Mark! And yes, I did pick it up from Machine Mart in the Caterham! NEW pictures posted here 50,000miles in 2 years
Mark Durrant
Angus Thanks for the offer but I already have an engine crane. The engine cradle is a jig that bolts to the cylinder head, that you then attache to the chain from your engine crane, it just makes lifting the engine in and out far easier . Wrightpayne
Mark, machinemart do a load leveler for about £35 IIRC. I purchased one for my K when I changed the clutch - complete control of entry angle! Just bolted it to the front of the head and a long piece of chain under the gearbox.
