Sheds Moderator
Moospeed, you have mail. I have runners.
MooSpeed
Hi, Got your mail and responded - did you get response ? Answer is that I'm OK to wait for a while. I've had the seats for a year now kicking around the garage. Bit of a shame as they are kevlar r500 jobbies - if I'd known my project was going to be so slow I'd have fitted them in the front room ta, Steve MooSpeed
Sheds Moderator
No reply Moospeed I'm afraid. try again on steve.corcoran@spab.fr. There's no problem if you don't want them just yet, they are in the "redundant 7 bits" teachest going nowhere. My passenger seat is an S type secured by gravity. With a passenger and belts fastened I don't think it's going very far!
MooSpeed
Ah right, basically I was saying that I'm OK to wait until you get back to the UK if it's going to be a matter of weeks rather than months. How much would you want - as a guide the new ones from Caterham are £38... MooSpeed
Sheds Moderator
Next UK visit 6-8 Feb. Arrival Stansted Fri pm. Re price I generally use half Caterham price ex VAT and take off a bit for wear, depending on what they look like. So how does £15 plus UK postage at cost sound? Steve.corcoran@spab.fr for further details.
MooSpeed
Sounds fine - if you want to mail me offline with address I'll stick a cheque in the post for your arrival (will hopefully compensate for the mountain of bills that normally greets you on returning home from abroad). cheers, Steve steve@moospeed.com MooSpeed

MooSpeed
Hi there - that's great cheers. Not sure what that empty posting was from me - how strange, don't remember pressing any buttons *confused* MooSpeed
MooSpeed
Received the runners this morning - just the ticket, they'll do nicely thanks. Weird smell though... did you douse them in aftershave before sending ? Postman commented that they've been stinking out his van MooSpeed
Sheds Moderator
Ha ha, yes, they were in the bottom of the overnight bag. In transit the cap unscrewed from a bottle of Kouros and half the contents leaked out. Everything has smelt like a tart's windowbox since and evidently some has got in the bag. Marvellous, fragrant seat runners. And jeans And shoes And toothbrush ☹️ The bag was a Xmas present and I was concerned about the seat runners getting grease on it. Needn't have bothered... Glad they are what you want!
