Paul Dickens
Does anybody have an idea as to how much quicker the softest compound ACB10 is compared to the hardest compound ACB10 for doing a sprint? A double lap at Curborough for example. 0.5sec 1.0sec 1.5sec ? The Original MANGO
Silver 21
I think a lot of it is subjective and down to the driver although I struggle to comment as I moved straight from RE720's to ACB10 A24's and wow what a difference. In theory A30/A33 tyres are not as soft but whether you could equate it to how many seconds difference I'm not sure, as a guess I would say at least 1 sec, This may not sound much but in 2003 it was the difference between winning the class or coming second in the championship. Add all the seconds together over 5 rounds and well work it for yourself, I know which tyres I'll be on again this year *thumbup* *thumbup* 😬 Graham Competition Secretary How many events for 2004?????? Jason Plato
ACB10's are a very poor tyre , the performance is equal if not worse then michelin Pilots . I realy would not use them .

Alias
ACB10s are road legal. I think they cost about £100 each. Don't expect to do much more than 3000 miles or 1.5 trackdays out of them One car - 1400 Supersport with 6 gears and clamshell wings.
