jon1 Posted January 5, 2004 Share Posted January 5, 2004 I would like to increase my vx powered caterham from 175 BHP to a real world 225 BHP while retaining my carbs due to the massive expense of changing to throttle bodies. I have been told that a replacement set of cams would achieve this, so: anyone got any spare Q420 or Q450 cams with either flat top pistons with 11.0 to 1 compression ratio to accompany the Q420 cams or race pistons with a 11.8 to 1 compression ratio to accompany the Q450b cams?? I would also need some steel cam followers. If this is the wrong way of going about it please let me know . if anyone has any of the above please post a reply. thanks.
