Sheds Moderator
The superscab Volvo is about to give up, I'm looking for a new car. Something dull and reliable between 2 and 5k, 306/Focus size upwards, anything considered, must be LHD. Country of reg not a problem but UK would be nice as used cars are cheaper there than in France. Especially LHD. Might be persuaded to spend more on a 406 coupe, LHD again. No 911s or M3s though, thank you, the 7 is the fun car.

KayTee
Just f.y.i.: dull and reliable spells "VW Golf". For 2-5k UKP you can get thousands of those in good condition over here. Even a decent Passat should be possible for that amount. If you want me to assist, no problem. Bye - Karsten

Sheds Moderator
*arrowup*BTT, anyone got anything? Karsten, what internet sites do you suggest, equivalent of Auto Trader, ideally in languages in addition to German? Yeah, I know, used cars advertised in Germany in languages other than German, but you have to try.
Tony Wright
Try here, http://www.autoscout24.de Go to bottom of page and click on English More cars than you can shake a stick at, trouble is the € exchange rate ☹️ Happy hunting
Sheds Moderator
Thanks tony, sounds like a winner. I'm not bothered about exch rate, I am paid in Euros and in fact I'm just about to receive a nice chunky expenses cheque so that can go towards a nice tasty tintop. What a winner, the superscab can go back to Jesus with a clear conscience.
