reAnimate Posted December 27, 2003 Share Posted December 27, 2003 Hi, Elise owner here - bought a second hand starter motor from an MGF that didn't fit - the one it was supposed to replace was a special light weight jobbie with different brackets - so it is sitting in the garage gathering dust ... Rob Walker Posted December 27, 2003 Author Share Posted December 27, 2003 Simon, Thanks for the response but I think the Elise mounting is quite different to that of the Caterham, I understand that the caterham starter is similar to the ford seirra and mounts off the bellhousing flange.
