Irrelevant Posted December 19, 2003 Share Posted December 19, 2003 There's not much on the spec, apart from 150bhp, for which there is no apparent evidence. It's not even dry sumped. I'd be asking what ancillaries it comes with, what pistons, what head work, and I'd want spec and build supporting evidence. At £1300 it's a lot if it's basically a tarted up £50 crossflow cast-off - he even says the block/head/crank/rods/rocker were NOT replaced when it was rebuilt. The seller says his initial price of £550 reflects the quality of the rebuild - i.e. he thinks this price is high but can be justified by the 'extensive' rebuild. Mine is a Vulcan Maxi-flow origionally built to 145 bhp. Built and fitted about 1989.
