Hibster.
Miggins: Ah, well, I've got just the fellow for you -- over there by the window: The Comte de Frou Frou. [shot of Frou Frou holding and looking oddly at a huge suspicious-looking sausage.] Miggins: He's pretty down on his luck, and he's made that horse's willy last all morning... Hibster.
Well, I've just completed my second day of paid employment. Yesterday was an induction day at the HQ so today was my 1st part day in the office where I met 2 members of the team that I manage.................... Lovely 😬 It is however, keeping me from the shed and I've already driven nearly 300 business miles, roll on pay day (and expenses day) So what's been happening without me down here, can someone do a summary as I'm too tired to read everything (no Rosssss, not that) Paul, no longer needing to go darn the job centre 😬 😬 😬 😬 Supercheese R250

Myles
Skills *confused* I can juggle (two balls one handed, three two handed - two is definitely harder...) Not much call for circus skills though ☹️ - or is the Official Shed Jester position up for grabs??? Erm, I spent nearly 8 years overseas (Cyprus, ME, bits of E-Europe) working in what I'd call 'IT project control, administration and management' deeply interwoven with bid work. My main skills were mainly in the financial side - pulling together the bid numbers, assessing and advising on the financial viability of the project, building the P&L, cashflow, risk analysis etc. and passing the lot through the corporate approvals process, ... ...right through to invoicing the b*ggers and tracking/monitoring and reporting any proiects that actually saw the light of day... ...along with going onsite to help the PM start the project (setting up all those lovely project methodology process - risk management, change control etc. etc.)... ...and supporting/maintaining the IT stuff in the Dubai office in my spare time (well, it allowed me to skive out of the office when it was quiet and go shopping for toys ). It was mainly retail banking systems stuff (the kind of gubbins you see in your local branch/internet plus all of the infrastructure and mainframes/big servers etc. at the other end). But I confess my technical and banking knowledge is pretty poor - numbers are numbers... Bang!> You can all wake up now Any of that help, Steve? Keep BC free and open for ALL.
