Meldrew
I think you'd be better off completely Oliver Reed at the Tweenies show, Ross. And remember: the secret of life is in the liver...
Myles
Hmm, the family will be having buck fizz for brekkie on Chrimbo day too (after we've finished the decent champagne first, natch). Only trouble is, my family tend to do this at about 2-3PM - just when I get back from cycling... ...and my traditional post-cycling food is a special beans and pasta concoction - does not go well with anything delicate like Champers.... Meldrew
Let's just stick to the creme brulee, shall we? I have to say in the devence of the Koreans that I've never been offered dog in Korea, and most Korean meat dishes are fab. However, a Korean vegetarian restaurant served some of the most disgusting things I have ever eaten, ranking alongside snake's gall bladder and raw cuttlefish guts. Meldrew
I never got the chinese "water beetles" - which looked suspiciously identical to cockroaches - that some colleagues were offered at one banquet. The snake was good, though.

Steve-B
i never question Fresh Sushi after living in Tokyo and the mama-san pulling a fish out of a tank at the end of the sushi bar, handing it to the sushi chef, and 30 seconds later the guy next to me eating it 😳 😳 Steve B Big Black Beast^3 SV VHPD
Tony Whitley
For me it was being asked "Do you like fresh fish?" in Korea. "Fresh fish" in this case was live octopus, chopped up, with a little spicy sauce to make the bits twitch. The vision of one of the suckers clamping itself to my windpipe was just too much to overcome.
