Ben Willis Posted December 16, 2003 Share Posted December 16, 2003 Engine - Vauxhaull 2.0 XE, Standard Caterham spec except ARP big end bolts, 175bhp with 42k miles from 1994 HPC Inlet with pair of 45 Webers Caterham wet sump Caterham Bellhousing Standard ECU Caterham Stainless 4-1 competition exhaust system (5" silencer I think) Complete with alternator, starter, flywheel, clutch Still in the car - can be seen, heard & driven if you are reasonably quick. Marc Hicks of Anglia 7s has the car and has tested compression at about 225lb in all cylinders. His opinion is the engine is in good condition but I'll let you ask him yourself. Matching Raceco Titanium 6.25" silencer available by negotiation. If not required I'll sell separately. Might split the rest too if there is no interest in the whole. Offers around £1200 Why? Must confess, the most exciting test drive anyone could have!! Overall it is not too difficult, but some bits will help you avoid problems and hopefully make life a bit easier Anthony Now where's the hacksaw to cut the secondaries...so the Raceco can will go on.
