Ben Willis

Recommended Posts

Engine - Vauxhaull 2.0 XE, Standard Caterham spec except ARP big end bolts, 175bhp with 42k miles from 1994 HPC

Inlet with pair of 45 Webers

Caterham wet sump

Caterham Bellhousing

Standard ECU

Caterham Stainless 4-1 competition exhaust system (5" silencer I think)

Complete with alternator, starter, flywheel, clutch

Still in the car - can be seen, heard & driven if you are reasonably quick. Marc Hicks of Anglia 7s has the car and has tested compression at about 225lb in all cylinders. His opinion is the engine is in good condition but I'll let you ask him yourself.

Matching Raceco Titanium 6.25" silencer available by negotiation. If not required I'll sell separately. Might split the rest too if there is no interest in the whole.

Offers around £1200

Why? I am going Duratec

Simon. if you are down south any time let me know, and you can have a look at my xf chassis with XE - still not quite finished, but one day...

Overall it is not too difficult, but some bits will help you avoid problems and hopefully make life a bit easier

Anthony

Now where's the hacksaw to cut the secondaries...so the Raceco can will go on.
