on the previous assertion and the fact that I assume we are playing remmington and posselthwait variation of the 1953 edition rules I think we can accept the strand, although I must say it does make Golders Green available but I'm playing MUDCHUTE which I expect you didnt expect ha ha *wink*

Hold on, I'm calling LEAVES. Steve-B you cannot use Hyde in Ft. William! According to my copy of the Rev. Greene's synopsis on The International MC handbook,edition No3 published in 1946 it clearly states: "A terminal claimed by the first person utilising the blocked system may only be countered by the opponent by a terminal using the Token block system..." No one has issued a Token(unless I am mistaken) so you must return to Bermondsey where you will have to wait for a Token to be issued by the next player. The paragraph I refer to is on page 17 for your info.
