Richard_E
K-series 1600CC Engine with std rods supplied and A-grade liners. The shells are 1600 supersport series shells that rover use in their rally car, a well know poster used his contacts to get these. These are an improvement over std shells but do not ask me why. Pistons are accrolite forged pistons with interference fit. Supplied with oil pump but not water pump or sump etc. The engine has done about 5K miles in this speck and has been fitted with an Apollo for 4.5K of this. It was run in for the first 1000 miles on mineral, 500 on semi and the rest on mobil 1. With the Apollo fitted it runs at 3.6 bar oil pressure. The power is 190 BHP but I guess most of this figure is down to the head etc. The engine has been tracked for 20 minutes at Combe where the oil reached 104C, the rev limit is 8000rpm and I have not set this higher for track work. The last oil change was at 4K miles. Looking for around £
