Baby Bucket
I have been thinking and had an idea idea.gif. Now this probably has been mentioned before, but forgive me as I'm reasonably new to Blatchat Given that a lot of folk are upgrading their cars, I wondered whether people had ever thought about documenting particular upgrades / conversions. These could be held on another part of this site. The sort of things I was thinking of are: Front Suspenion Upgrade - older Live Axle to Graduate style - wide track conversion Fitting new shocks & springs Big brake upgrades Conversion to cycle wings Track Day preparation I'm sure there are many more. I wasn't envisaging great pages of text - just a few notes on key issues / problems, with perhaps details of suppliers etc. Given the proliferation of high quality digital cameras a few pictures would greatly add to the clarity. This topic should probably something that should be on the general chat part on the site. Any thoughts, Peter
Site Manager
Great idea, more than happy to help where I can. However. I do believe that articles like this should be aired in Low Flying first. Barry
c7kjt
I've tried to do this on my site (link below). But they tend to just be before & after piccies as James Whiting does all my stuff for me. Did go into detail on the aeroscreen conversion though. Feel free to take a look. Kevin Thomas kevin.thomas@bigfoot.com www.c7kjt.co.uk
Tony Martyr
I made a complete digital photo and CamCorder record of my conversion on a 1600k SS to the QED TBs and dta ECU including relooming and throttle linkage but there aint any site to take them. I certainly would have been helped to see the process before setting out.
