Luke Beaumont
Just a thought, but I prefer URL links to pop open a new browser window. For example a posting may point you to a site which is taking a while to load. If it spawned a new window you can let it load at its own pace and keep browsing BC in the original window. Another example would be where a posting points you to a site but you need to refer back to the posting. Having the site in a new window makes it easier than shuffling around on the forward & back buttons. Admittedly it only takes Ctrl-N to spawn your own window and click the link in that, but where do you draw the line between laziness and ease of use? Site Manager
Luke, I was trying to follow current 'standards' where you let the user decide whether they want to open in a new window. If you are using a pc then: Right-click / open link in new window should do the trick. Sorry, don't know the equivalent on a Mac. Now if only IE could do the same as Opera, Mozilla, and Mozilla Firebird and enabled tab'd browsing.
Luke Beaumont
Fair enough, it's no biggie. Thanks for the reply. > Sorry, don't know the equivalent on a Mac. S'ok, you won't catch me using one of them

scooby dooby doo
annoying is where sites are inconsistent - some links open a new window and some don't But we're ok here I think there needs to be a different way of showing a new window link - maybe duble underlined HOOPY R706KGU Hoopylight R Special RWC winners edition of sig 😬
KevSull Too
Barry, if you want tabbed browsing, download Crazy Browser. It's a 'front end' replacement for IE (uses the IE engine), has tabs and blocks pop-ups. 😬You laugh at me because I'm different, I laugh at you because you're all the same. 😬
