Depending on the "management" style at work in the school this may be the time when they suss you out in terms of whether you are going to be a pain in the butt (as far as they are concerned), a supportive parent, someone who doesn't give a stuff and probably won't turn up again etc etc.

 

It's always a good idea to ask loads of questions, ask what you and Mrs B can do to help your daughters progress at home (if anything), even taking notes if necessary. At futue parents evenings don't be afraid to go along with some things you'd like the teaching staff to consider doing for your daughter (these events are meant to be 2-way).

 

And don't forget they may be a teacher but you are no longer a pupil, you are in a way, their employers

 

Support you local sherrif, er I mean, teacher 😬
