Rowly
I've just been reading the FAQ bit about saving weight. Does this mean that my heater is lighter if I turn the fan on? Owner of *thumbup*The Wombat membership number 10765
Myles
Noooo, not if I remember my physics, it ain't. Your *engine* will be getting lighter..., your heater will probably be getting a teeny bit heavier... Alcester Racing 7's Equipe - 🙆🏻
simonbell
It means if you go into a 360 degree spin you will slow down quicker if you stick your arms and legs out 😬 FOR SALE Birkin S3 2.0 Zetec 170bhp FOR SALE I`ve seen the future.....and it`s powered by duratec
simonbell
By far the best way to loose weight using the heater is to grab it and throw it out of the car......Bingo! Steve-B
but if you go to a track and can do 360s at the same speed as the heater fan, doex the world quit moving 🤔 😬 Steve B Big Black Beast^3 SV VHPD Join us on the USA 2005 tour......HERE

Badger Bill
I don't see the problem with all this weight issue , I'm at 425 with a little more to go (with the removal of the front ARB, new mag alloys a bit of the ol' CF and "chassis structural rationalization" with my angle grinder Advancment through lightness ☹️BB ☹️ *smile*Vorsprung Durch Armco

Dannyboy
I believe that you may be able to save at least 10kg by removing both legs with a blunt hacksaw and replacing with carbon fibre limbs.. all available form Dog in the woods or something like that *eek* 😬 😬 😬 😬 Dannnneeeeeeeeeboy
Meldrew
The problem with legs sourced from dogs is that you'll never be able to go straight past a tree again. Embarrassing. 😳
Debert
Wrong ❗ All of you - go to the back of the class (shed?) You should be fattening up ready for the cold spell ahead. AND wear more clothes to keep warm. Love from "first aid" teacher - Mr. Hypo Thermia ☹️ (speaking from experience of being too blinkin cold for too long yesterday sittin in a patrol boat in the pouring rain in Langstone Harbour, watching everyone else sailing and having fun - of a sort). 😬 Blue and Silver Sublime Vehicle Barbarella here
Area Representative Crudders Posted November 10, 2003 Area Representative Share Posted November 10, 2003 Slimming World - I never quantified the performance gains but I lost 39 lbs/17.7kg over 18months. How much would that kind of weight loss cost in CF and titanium upgrades do you reckon? But like you Nick, I seem to have regained some of it (7 lbs/3.2 kg) recently, which is a bit of a ☹️ I blame it on instinct - your body tells you to stock up in readiness for the potentially sparse food supply over winter, and being a good boy I always do as I'm told Expanding Girth of Sidcup
Area Representative Crudders Posted November 10, 2003 Area Representative Share Posted November 10, 2003 You posted while I was typing Fletch - nice to have my theory corroborated And I have never felt the cold in my life until losing that weight. Meldrew
I am well prepared for winter - though with me in it, "flat flooring" means that the bottom of the car sits flat on the floor.
