EU3 Supersport kit

Richard Price

Recommended Posts

I have an EU3 and immobiliser with the remotes that were on my car for two months when I frist got the car. The EU3 has a slight problem, in that it does not send the signal for the change up light. Other than that it is fine. Send me an email if this suits your needs.

Cheers

Hi Ken,

Does you "Old" car have a distributor and a separate coil (EU2), or are the two coil packs mounted under a plastic cover over the cam cover and NO distributor(EU3)?

I think the EU3 engines started to appear some time during 2001.

Ian,

I'm not impatient, and may well keep asking the same questions for a couple of months or more

If I hav'nt found anything suitable, I may even go out and buy some NEW parts *eek*

When's the first sprint of the new year 🤔 😬

Oh, I've just thought (it happens now and then) - I've got a MEMS ECU off my ex-Julian Thompson SLR that now has an Emerald on it.

Would that match my Supersport cams which came out of my 2000 1.6K?

Edited to add - no it wouldn't would it because the fueling will be different ☹️ silly
