scooby dooby doo Posted November 5, 2003 Share Posted November 5, 2003 IT is all pretty shocking. We used to have one team to design, build, release, configure and operate our applications. We now have a build team and an operate team that also operate half a dozen other apps. They stole one of our people for this operate team who then left. The rest of the operate team don't understand our stuff (its HUGE, complex and takes at least 6 months to learn to any useful level). The boundaries between the teams are ill defined, producing brand new stuff is a mare as nobody wants to take responisbilty to get it working properly, the business users are upset with the level of service and we've had to hire an extra developer to make up for the short fall in manpower, so its not saved any money *mad* *mad* HOOPY R706KGU Hoopylight R Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
