But the truth is that it was just off a diesel covered roundabout at 10mph almost directly into the armco... 10 yards further on and I would have gone onto grass... Boonie Hound Posted October 27, 2003 Share Posted October 27, 2003 Sorry to hear that BB. Windy did something similar at a Silverstone trackday and hit the inside of Copse. Twisted the chasis and caused quite a bit of damage. I think it would be fair to say that at the time he was pretty p *mad* *mad*ed off. But nearly a year on he was joking about it when were at Silverstone at the weekend and the car is back on the road. If there is a silver lining at least it happened after the close of summer. I crashed mine last year and its a horrible feeling afterwards On the bright side it will come back better than ever although it will take a long while - in my case it took 6 weeks just to get the go-ahead from the insurers.
