Morls
I have a plan for the Audi 80! Why not Marinise it? With a delux Coventry Climax bilge pump. (Errr... Marinise like a boat, not an ital 😳). Mark My Caterham Silver Jubilee No. 7 is here with Mavis, under 'Mark's Cars'.
Coose
Do you mean leave it to absorb the juices of the orchard flavoured with rosemary, pine nuts and tumeric in sea of freshly pressed jus d'apple, with a drizzle of Sardinian extra virgin olive oil? Thought so..... Fat Arnie Fanclub member 0898 222555 Edited by - Coose on 22 Nov 2003 23:29:

owelly
Game over. ☹️ The Audi has trundled off down the road. An ex-work colleague wanted it to replace the rusty Escort in his garden thereby raising the tone of his council estate. It'll be burnt out by the weekend but it leaves room on my drive for more toys ❗ HURRAH-RA SKIRT 😬 😬 😬 savin up to be eccentric. but for now, i'll just be stupid... ewenm
Yes, but not to this one. After a terrible trip up North over the weekend, I'm going to buy a tintop to preserve my sanity. 71482 miles and counting... but a broken wrist ❗
owelly
If its any consolation the Audi called for an MOT on its way to its new home and failed on the busted windyscreen and a flat spare. Its always the same, its been on my drive for over a year and today I get 2 emails and a bloke knocking on my door to see how much I want for it ❗ Sorry Ewen ☹️ savin up to be eccentric. but for now, i'll just be stupid... Coose
That'll larrrn yer! Is doo coming on our John O'Groats to Lands End Honda C90 tour next year? Should I rephrase that - you were voted to be pilot no.4 on our Honda C90 tour next year! All you have to do is buy one (I'm off to look at one soon) and any spares you can get, plus a 1/5 share of a weeks van hire! Oh yeah, and bring your video camera and a wheelbarrow. Did I mention that the wheelbarrow is to be full of Stella? 😬 I wish I had a sense of humour too.
ewenm
In a fit of pique at missing out on Owelly's car I've only gone and bought my very own Audi 80 (Sport 16V) for the magnificent sum of £750. It's been 4 years of Caterham as the only car, but finally I have succumbed. Might actually be able to get to Athletics matches not so knackered now 😬 71482 miles and counting... but a broken wrist ❗
