Oh look a winter project, buy an SIII and a new chassis (£1900 for a galvansied chassis, new springs and an overdrive unit) here

and here come the temptation fairies they are called :-

- Wouldn't be too hard, just a few rusty bolts

- Bikesheders would come and help

- You'd end up with a nice solid vehicle

- It'd be ready before the really cold (in the garage) and nasty (out on the roads) weather sets in

- You'd get to learn how the vehicle goes together (useful for the future)

- The Boonie hound would go in the back

- It'd be worth more than you paid for it

Tempt tempt

You know you want to

If they are good enough for Lara Croft then they are good enough for you here

If you are as much a man as Fred Dibnah then you need one here Fred's has a new chassis from Marsland (see my link in prev email)

Right that does it I'm coming over to your house, strapping you in a chair and making you watch that God-awfull 'Arramatic Spices' advert until your head explodes.....

You are truly evil.....did you see the pic of the LWB SW going through the mud....NOoooooooooooooooo....I mustn't look.............

Surely there is another 7 owner out there who can help meeeeee.....

A Land Rover would make an excellent tow or parts vehicle for & convoys/ trackdays.....arrrrrggghhhhh....even my subconcious is joining in.... 😳

Been thinking about setting up a "club" of a similar idea to Damon Hill's P1 club - but with cars I want to drive/own and lots cheaper. So it would have 7s, Landys, Lancia Delta HF, Audi quattro SWB. Hmmm, need a big garage.

I'll help you Boonie... help you build a Landy that is... 😬

70443 miles and counting... but a broken wrist

I have Landy Defender 90 County TD5 and a 7.

Feeling oh so very smug and self-satisfied.

Landy in for its first 12,000 mile service today.

Have had Discos and Rangies in the past, but Defender is comfortably my fave.

TD5 is a superb engine. I'm a wuss and have "County" pack with...electric windows *eek* AND central locking *eek*

Cannot recommend them enough. BUY BUY BUY.
